How to use and what to expect:

• Mix 3 lbs or 6 cups per cubic foot of soil, or topdress at 1.5 lbs or 3 cups per square foot.
• For best results, allow about one week after mixing before planting so the kit begins to break down and integrate.
• We can precharge the nutrients and minerals into compost for immediate mixing and planting for an additional cost.

Mixing guidelines by blend size (choose one option or combine with existing soil as needed):

• 6 cu ft blend: 4 cu ft peat-perlite mixture, 1.5 cu ft compost, 0.5 cu ft vermicompost, or 6 cu ft of potting soil.
• 9 cu ft blend: 3.8 cu ft peat/perlite mix (Promix, Sunshine, Lambert), 2 cu ft compost, 1 cu ft vermicompost, or 9 cu ft of potting soil.
• 27 cu ft blend: 20 cu ft peat/perlite mixture, 6 cu ft compost, 3 cu ft vermicompost, or 27 cu ft of potting soil.
