Kelp Meal provides essential Nitrogen and Potassium, along with trace minerals, carbohydrates, and amino acids that promote robust root development. Ideal for mixing into soil before planting or as a top dressing, it enhances organic matter content and improves moisture retention. Sourced from cold New England coastal waters, this kelp is highly regarded in organic farming. Use it in compost, create nutrient-rich kelp tea, or incorporate directly into living soil.
Recommended application is 1/4 to 1/2 cup per cubic foot of soil, complementing a balanced nutrient program.
For kelp plant nutrient solution, blend 1/2 cup kelp meal with 5 gallons water, aerate or stir for an hour, dilute, and apply immediately.
